There is a kind of happiness that only appears when you slow down. It lives in ordinary moments. The smell of food being cooked in the kitchen. Hearing someone you love call your name from another room. Watching rain fall without needing to rush anywhere. When we were younger, we never questioned these moments. They were simply part of life. But as we grow older, we realize how fragile and precious they are. One day the house becomes quieter. People move away. The days that once felt ordinary become memories. And suddenly you understand something. The small moments were never small. They were the real happiness all along.
